Radical Islamists including Anjem Choudary, Abu Izzadeen and their supporters confronted and clashed with British far-right groups including the English Defence League(EDL), Britain First(BF) and South East Alliance(SEA) outside the Central London Mosque (or Regents Park Mosque). Anjem Choudary had planned a rally against ‘David Cameron’s Christian Crusade against Islam and Muslims’ on Easter Good Friday. Hundreds gathered and clashed on the road outside the mosque with many Metropolitan and City Police forcefully keeping the groups separate. A few arrests were made from both sides.
