Replicas of Buddha statues are displayed in a replicated chamber of the Mogao Grottoes during the Dunhuang Art Exhibition at Zhejiang Art Museum in Hangzhou city, east Chinas Zhejiang province, 29 December 2013. A Chinese museum replicated one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in northwest China to show the beauty of grotto arts. The Zhejiang Art Museum in the eastern Chinese tourist city of Hangzhou launched its Dunhuang Art Exhibition to outline the Mogao Caves or Mogao Grottoes, which feature over one thousand Buddha statues. The museum replicated 7 caves, 59 frescos, 10 colored sculptures and exhibited 10 real glazed tiles and 10 real sutra scrolls. The exhibition runs nearly 3 months until March 16, 2014.
