Retired CAPT Donald K. Ross, left, and retired CAPT Joseph K. Taussig Jr. confer during the Survivors Day program at the USS Arizona Memorial. The program is part of the observance of the 50th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The two men were stationed aboard the battleship USS NEVADA on the day of the attack.
