Rhodonite with quartz. Rhodonite is a member of the pyroxene group with the mineral formula of (Mn,Fe,Mg,Ca)5(SiO3)5. Rhodonite is carved for jewlery. The name comes from the Greek word for rose, rhodon. This sample is about 7 cm.
