Fry Art Gallery Annual Exhibition and Sale_Saffron Walden_Essex_UK_ 20/21 November 2021_Photo Brian Harris The first Fry Art Gallery Annual Exhibition and Art sale since before covid 19 restrictions came into place was held in Saffron Walden, home to the Fry Art Gallery and collection over tthe weekend of 20 and 21 of November. Prices ranged from £50 to £5000. Monies raised will go towards to completion of ongoing refurbishment works at the main Fry Gallery. The main Fry Art Gallery building was designed to house the art collection of Francis Gibson, a local Quaker businessman who died in 1859. Artists represented and were selling well included Edward Bawden, John Aldridge RA, Edwin Smith, Giuliana Lazzerini, Michael Rothenstein, Bernard Cheese, Eduardo Paolozzi and Eric Ravilious amongst many others.
