St. Audries, Exmoor, Somerset, England. August 8th 2013. St Audries church was rebuilt in 1854 to replace a medieval building. Designed by John Norton, the original was dilapidated. The church was dedicated to St Audrey, once a Queen of Northumbria, who was to become the first Abbess of Ely. She died in 679 AD.
