RSPB information posters designed and drawn by Charles Tunnicliffe. Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe, OBE, RA (1 December 1901 – 7 February 1979) was an internationally renowned naturalistic painter of British birds and other wildlife. He spent most of his working life on the Isle of Anglesey. Tunnicliffe created many paintings for the RSPB, that were used for posters, cover illustrations of 'Bird Notes' and 'Birds' magazine, as well as cards, calendars, jig-saw puzzles, books, and stationery.
