Dec 6, 2017. Bel-Air Ca. Firefighters raced to a fast-moving brush fire that broke out early Wednesday morning near Skirball Center in the Sepulveda Pass. The northbound 405 Freeway was closed for several hours and burning at least four homes in the Bel-Air area know for it's multi-million dollar mansions.The Skirball fire was at 4:52 a.m. on the east side of the freeway and quickly grew to 150 acres by 10 a.m. as crews were working against 15 to 25 mph winds.
