The vegetable garden in this property was covered in an old weed membrane and wood bark which had been down for years. So the job was to remove all the membrane and bark and work in compost into this heavy soil so that it can be broken down over the winter and reworked in the spring. Leaving it as long as necessary to make it a working vegetable garden. Water loving plants, i.e. willow, will be used to soak up water.
