VILLA OF GUADALUPE, MEXICO CITY, DECEMBER 02, 2017 - Antique Basilica of Guadalupe, of neoclassical style, was built from 1695 to 1709 by the architects Pedro de Arrieta and Manuel Tolsa. Due to the sinking of the subsoil it was closed during 24 years from 1976 to 2000, reopening with the name of Expiatory Temple to Christ King.
