The Sideband Snail (Monadenia fidelis infumata) is a fairly common land snail in some of the rainy areas of western Oregon. It has a tan shell with an almost black coiled stripe. The snail measures 3.5 cm (1.38 in) diameter and spends its time in moist mossy areas and places covered with leaf litter.
