A German flintlock rifle, I. Ebert, circa 1760. Heavy, two-stage barrel, octagonal changing to round after a baluster with smooth bore in 19 mm calibre. Inset brass front sight and iron rear sight. Slightly cut flintlock with signature "I. EBERT" underneath the frizzen spring, the trigger does not engage properly. Walnut full stock carved with floral designs and with horn nose, the brass furniture engraved with rocaille decoration. Wooden ramrod with horn tip.
