A scene from the 2010 Kishiwada Danjiri Matsuri Festival that is held every September in Kishiwada, Osaka Prefecture, Kansai area, Japan, where big, portable shrines are pulled by many dozen people at great speed through the streets of Kishiwada, with performers jumping around on top of the shrines. The speed in the corners is so great that accidents, even fatal ones, are frequent reminders of the intensity of the festival.
