Cuervo, New Mexico is a partial ghost town bisected by US Interstate 40. The town was once a stop along US Route 66 with a population of 128 in 1946. Today the town has a "living" side on one side of the interstate with a post office and gas station. The "dead" side of Cuervo has an abandoned school house, town hall, beauty salon, several farms, store fronts, box cars and vehicles in various states of decay.
