A newcomer to London Zoo has arrived early for Christmas. The female reindeer calf "Maple" was born in June 1999, and made her first public appearance. The youngster is still suckling from her mother Mischa and is being cared for by zoo keeper Vanessa Asher. * Her mother Mishca also appears in the BBC One documentary "Zoo".
