Frack Free Lancashire (FFL) is part of an expanding national movement that opposes the development and extraction of shale gas worldwide. This massive NATIONAL anti-fracking rally was organised by the campaign for climate change with over 800 protestors demonstrating in Piccadilly gardens against the government has allegedly, in swift order, overridden Lancashire Council on fracking, approved Heathrow expansion, revealed 29 bidders for new offshore drilling licences and announced a new oil and gas partnership with Colombia, as well as continuing with plans to increase tax on rooftop solar on schools and businesses. The group' United against Fracking' is a loose association incorporating Friends of the Earth, Unite Union, Reaf, Frack Free Ryedale, Frack Free Wales, Frack Free Lancashire, Unison, and several others.
