Anti-war demonstration in New York, 1934. During a parade on 5th Avenue, the threatening war is protested on a float. On the float is a banner on which a warning stands that the following generation will bear the bruden of the war. The women on the float protest with various placards against a war which would turn millions of children into orphans. The women also represent the sufferings of war symbolically.
