Arisaema consanguineum Schott is widespread in Asia and originates in the Himalayas. Those from the Himalayas are hardy in some warmer areas of the northern temperate zone.The arum like flowers with striped hooded and purple spadix vary in colour. The leaves have the appearance of a open parasol.
