Beautifully painted Pannier Tank Steam Locomotive sits gently steaming in the maintenance shed at Didcot Railway Centre in Oxfordshire. Manufactured at the Swindon works in 1937, number 3738 spent her working life in London before being scrapped at Barry in South Wales. She was restored in the 1970's and has been well maintained since then.
