The first production aircraft had the 150hp Hispano-Suiza fitted and were designated SE5. The later SE5a had the 200 or 220hp Hispani-Suiza or 200hp Wolseley Viper engine. It was used by twenty-four squadrons of the Royal Flying Corps and Royal Air Force in France, Palestine, Macedonia, Mesopotamia and the United Kingdom. RM2G7D533–Merville Barracks, Colchester, Essex, UK. 13th Jul, 2021. A presentation of new colours for the British Army Parachute Regiment took place at their Merville Barracks base in Colchester, with a flypast of veteran and current Royal Air Force and British Army aircraft. A Boeing Stearman and two Tiger Moth biplanes were followed by two Army Air Corps Apaches and an Airbus A400M transport plane. A parachute drop then followed onto the base. Colonel In Chief, The Prince of Wales presented the new Colours to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Battalions of The Parachute Regiment.
