Copies are from Salisbury, Lincoln cathedrals and the British Library. Visitors were given a waxed sealed certificate memento with their names hand scribed in 'Medieval' style. 1215 people attended the day drawn from ballot of 45000 from around the world. The Magna Carta is still viewed as a hugely significant document enshrining the law as sovereign and so guarding against the tyranny of rulers and mob rule.
