Buddleia globosa is a Summer flowering shrub. It is quite unusual for a Buddleia as its flowers are small round and orange, ( rather than the elongated conical shape normally associated with the more commonly recognized Buddleias ) . B. globosa attracts bees and butterflies and is a useful addition to any garden in which there is an ecologically minded gardener who wishes to create a habitat / eco-system that is friendly and attractive to insects.
