Edward McCaron, nephew of Cardinal Thomas Winning, carries the coffin out of the Catholic Cathedral in Glasgow, at the end of the funeral for Cardinal Winning, the head of the Catholic Church in Scotland. * Leading religious figures, politicians and royalty joined ordinary Scots from all walks of life at the ceremony in the cathedral. Around 300 priests were expected to take part in the funeral Mass along with around 20 bishops and five archbishops.
