More information:

Located near Ballintoy in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge was original built by local fishermen to connect the mainland to the tiny island of Carrickarede. The latter is 98 feet above the sea and rocky coast. The vistas from this tiny island afford stunning views of the local area. The bridge is owned and maintained by the National Trust.
