Chirpy, a two-hour old Gentoo Penguin chick is weighed for the first time, Edinburgh Zoo. Eight chicks have been hatched at the Zoo in the past three weeks. Gentoo Penguins build their nests on pebbles and each female usually lays two eggs. *Once the eggs have hatched, the parents take turns to feed them with re-gurgitated fish.
