Cholmondeley Castle Gardens. Autumnal view of the 18th century Grade II* listed Robert Bakewell gates on the south west approach to Cholmondeley Castle. Designed in a Gothic revival castle style by local architect William Turner, Cholmondeley Castle was built in the early 19th century for George Cholmondeley, the 1st Marquess of Cholmondeley.
