Contestants battle it out in a pugil stick arena during the Ken Grody Ford Beach Bash 2009 at Del Mar Beach on July 4. It was hosted by Marine Corps Community Services Camp Pendleton, and representatives from Ken Grody Ford attended the event passing out cards for a chance to win a 2008 Ford Focus. There were many activities such as volleyball tournaments, temporary tattoo parlors and climbing walls, in addition to the many free interactive games available for all age groups.
