County Down, Northern Ireland. 11th Jan, 2018. UK weather - After heavy overnight fog a fog warning remained in place across Northern Ireland until 11am today (Thursday). Whilst the sun did break through the fog returned periodically throughout the day. Due to reduced visibility a motorway speed limit of 40 MPH was in place in parts of the country.
