Delmonico’s at 56 Beaver St. in Lower Manhattan was operated by the Delmonico family during the 19th and early 20th century and subsequently reopened by other restaurateurs under the same name. It was one of the first restaurants in the United States and considered to be one of the first American fine dining establishments. Feb. 13, 2010
