Denver, Colorado - A church tower at the Denver Archdiocese John Paul II Center for the New Evangelization. In 1996, inspired by the 1993 visit of His Holiness Pope John Paul II to Denver for World Youth Day, the Archdiocese of Denver announced that the former St. Thomas seminary would be renamed the "John Paul II Center for the New Evangelization." Currently, all ministries of the Archdiocese of Denver are headquartered on the John Paul II Center's campus, located at 1300 South Steele Street in Denver.
