They came up with the demand observing day long program styled as 'Hijra Pride 2014' on Monday, November 10, 2014. The Hijra leaders also urged the government to ensure safety and basic rights for the community. The rally started from Dhaka Press Club at 03.00 PM today and it was organized by Bondhu Social Welfare Society, the Non-Government Organization working for development of Hijra community in Bangladesh.
