Microbiologist Dr David Kelly leaving The House of Commons, after giving evidence to the Commons select committee. * Dr Kelly was named by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) last week as a contact who it believes briefed BBC defence correspondent Andrew Gilligan about the Iraqi weapons programme. 18/07/03 : David Kelly, 59, the Government adviser on Iraqi arms named as the possible 'mole' for a BBC report claiming the Government 'sexed up' its dossier on weapons of mass destruction, after being questioned by the Foreign Affairs Select Committee. Mr Kelly has been reported missing by his family. Police say that Dr Kelly went missing from his home in Abingdon, near Oxford, at around 3pm after telling his wife he was going for a walk. The family called police when he had failed to return by 11.45pm.
