Fallas (in Spanish) or Falles (in Valencian) are a Valencian tradition which celebrates Saint Joseph's Day (19 March) in Valencia, Spain. The term Fallas refers to both the celebration and the mounuments created during the celebration. The nights of the 15, 16, 17, and 18th there is a fireworks display in the old riverbed in Valencia. Each night is progressively grander and the last is called La Nit de Foc, the night of fire.
