Foreshore cleaning on Aindsdale beach, Southport. 12th December, 2018. UK Weather. Foggy day for volunteers and additional community helpers who clean up after recent storms which have left behind drinks cups, cutlery, straws, plastic bottles, lids stirrers, buckets, polythene, single-use, throwaway items, string, rope, lighters, man-made chemicals, and litter debris in the strandline. Storm Eleanor has left beaches littered with items scooped up from the seabed by the waves described as a tidal wave of waste and removing it is huge task.
