Blind Date presenter Cilla Black arrives for the funeral of her husband Bobby Willis at St. Mary the Virgin Church in Denham, Buckinghamshire, with her sons Robert (left) and Ben. * The Blind Date presenter's husband of 30 years, who was also her agent and the architect of her success, died last Saturday in the Royal Free Hospital in London after a long battle with liver and lung cancer. He was 57. 8/9/00: Black has opened her heart for the first time since the tragic death of her husband and manager Bobby. The TV star has told how she is gradually coming to terms with his death, but admitted having to overcome the simplest of tasks that became almost impossible to endure alone after Bobby's death from cancer in October last year. The pair were married for 30 years and never spent a day apart, so for the Liverpudlian everything became a massive hurdle to overcome. She told The Mirror's "The Look" magazine how getting herself onto a plane was a major landmark in her coping alone.
