A Hampshire spokesman added: "Officers were called at 10.51am today following the sudden death of a 52-year-old man close to Denhill Close on Hayling Island. "The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course." South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman, Michelle Archer, said that they had received a call at 10.39 and some crew were sent to Denhill Close near to the trail. She added, "We sent a variety of resources including the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, a community responder, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance crew, an ambulance officer and the emergency care response unit. "They were assessing and treating a gentleman who sadly was confirmed deceased at the scene. "I understand it was a cycling accident.©UKNIP
