HM Customs Cutter Searcher. A fast patrol boat tasked with combatting smugglers and the enforcement of Customs control at our maritime borders. HMCC was built for the Customs by Damen Shipyards in Holland and cost over £4 million pounds. Equipped with extensive surveillance and navigation equipment she recently worked with the Royal Navy to intercept a yacht carrying millions of pounds worth of illegal drugs(2008).
