The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development estimated in January of 2014 that 49,933 American military veterans are homeless. Volunteer at the event, Lindsey Morgan, walks with her service dog, Jordan. Morgan, a U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq, is afflicted with post traumatic stress disorder. Her service dog, Jordan, provides support.
