Horizontal wide angle of people gathered to watch a street performer in the piazza in Covent Garden on a bright sunny evening. 'Convent Garden' (laterly corrupted to Covent Garden as we know it today) was the name given during the reign of King John (1199–1216), to a 40 acre patch of ground in what was then the county of Middlesex. This area today is dominated by cafes, shops and street performers busking all year round entertaining passers-by.
