Horizontal wide angle of the iconic Victorian gothic style towers of Tower Bridge crossing the River Thames against a brilliant blue sky. Tower Bridge is a draw bridge constructed in 1886 to ease the congestion caused by the development of East London. It took eight years to build and was opened on 30 June 1894. It has become an iconic symbol of London and is sometimes mistakenly called London Bridge, which is the unimpressive next bridge upstream.
