Jockey Lester Piggott pictured arriving for the inquiry being held by Jockey Club Stewards in London, to find out just what did happen at the finish of the Timeform Gold Cup Race at Doncaster. Piggott went to the inquiry at the request of Mrs. A.Biddle, owner of Scissors, the horse placed second after an objection. Piggott, who was riding Con Brio in the race, was asked by Mrs.Biddle to stand-by at an appeal.
