Developers of the site, Modus, are working in partnership with Oldham Council to rejuvenate the Huddersfield Road District site and to attract more shoppers to the area. The split level store with over 900 parking spaces underneath the sales area will replace the smaller store formerly located on the site. The three storey building has a flat roof and elements of aluminum curtain walling features together with glazed tower entrances and travellators over the split levels. Work began in March 2008 and is due for completion in February 2009.
