World's Fair, Flushing Meadows, Queens, New York, USA, opened 21.4.1964 for two six month sessions before closing 21.10.1965, fair not sanctioned as an official expo, fair's theme: 'Peace through Understanding', represented optimism of The Space age era, with emphasis on bright technology led future, Walt Disney Corporation designed Pepsi-Cola pavilion, theme of Pepsi pavilion was: 'It's a Small World - a Salute to UNICEF and the World's Children', United Nations, featured a boat ride past miniature world scenes and animated singing children, animals with use of audio animatronics, here part of Africa section with jungle and drumming monkey, pink elephant, rhino, lion, the ride later moved to Disneyworld, Florida and are other versions in Disney theme and amusement parks - a vintage nineteen sixties photograph
