Jul 12, 2007 - Nizhni Tagil, Urals, Russia - The White Swan is a life-imprisonment prison-camp, and is located in Nizhny Tagil (Urals). The White Swan is one of two prisons in the Russian Federation where prisoners who committed atrocious crimes are held. Serial killers, terrorists, cannibals, are some of the inmates who were originally sentenced to death but after a moratorium on the death penalty in Russia, these criminals will serve life-imprisonment.
