Leptis Magna. Libya. The main Tepidarium or warm room (there were 3 in total) which was surrounded by an elaborate columned enclosure. The Hadrianic Baths were constructed in 126-127 AD and remodelled in the time of the Emperors Commodus (180-192AD) and Septimius Severus (193-211 AD), . The site of Leptis Magna is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most spectacular and unspoiled Roman ruins in the Mediterranean.
