Directed by Dmitri Tcherniakov with Patricia Racette as Katerina Lvovna Ismailova, Robert Hayward as Boris Timofeyevich Ismailov, Peter Hoare as Zinovy Borisovich Ismailov and John Daszak as Sergei. Libretto by Alexander Preis and the composer after the novel-sketch by Nikolai Leskov. The opera opens on 26 September 2015 for eight performances.
