Remain campaigners dressed as Judges make their point from a bus and with an ad van - The Supreme Court starts its hearing on the case for the Government using the Royal Prerogative to trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, in order to start the UK’s withdrawal from the EU. Against the Government are Gina Millar and her team backed by Charlie Mullins of Pimlico Plumbers. They believe that such powers are not meant to be used where they would ‘frustrate or substantially undermine’ laws made by parliament. And because the European Communities Act 1972 was an act of parliament, Article 50 must also be triggered by parliament. London, 05 Dec 2016.
