Victims of the Titanic sinking disaster lie buried in Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This gravestone reads "DEAN George H. Dean lost on S.S. Titanic. April 15, 1912, aged 19 years. - Very deeply mourned by his sorrowing parents Fred & Mary Dean". RMS Titanic stuck an iceberg in the North Atlantic Ocean, south of Newfoundland, and sank on April 15, 1912. The Titanic plot was designed by land surveyor F.W. Christie.
