Marek Zirk-Sadowski is congratulated by his peers and colleagues on his new appointment as head of the Supreme Administrative Court. Polish President Andrzej Duda presented the act establishing the new President of the Supreme Administrative Court during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw. The President appointed Marek Zirk-Sadowski as the new head of the Supreme Administrative Court. The head of the Supreme Administrative Court is a six year term. Sadowski has already served on the Supreme Administrative Court as a judge for over two decades and as the Vice President of the court for another 11 years. The President asked that the new head of the court should try and shorten the period for settling cases. He also stated he was both proud and confident in this appointment since Sadowski is both a law professor and experienced in the court. (Photo by Anna Ferensowicz / Pacific Press)
