May 27, 2017 - FILE PHOTO: GREGORY LENOIR 'GREGG' ALLMAN (born December 8, 1947Ê- died May 27, 2017) was an American musician, singer and songwriter. He is best known for performing in the Allman Brothers Band. Following a series of health problems, Allman died at his home in Savannah, Georgia, on May 27, 2017, due to complications of liver cancer. He was 69 years old.
